Prospective analysis of cerebrovascular events in patients following coronary artery bypass surgery

Background: Cerebrovascular events are the most common cause of disability in adults and can be classified into two categories: ischemic stroke hemorrhagic stroke. Risk factors for include age, gender, race, family history stroke, hypertension, smoking, heart disease, valvular arrhythmias, diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia. Low cardiac output syndrome, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation also contribute to This study aims investigate incidence post-cardiac surgery risk contributing it. Methods: A prospective observational with a sample size 516 patients was conducted.
